Food Planning

Please sign up to bring some food!

  • Beverages will be BYOB. Also planning to restock the vending machine.
  • There is a grill at the space!
  • If you have a crockpot, please consider using it! We don't have proper kitchen at the space (yet!), so crockpots and such will be helpful for supplying us all with hot food.
  • Please avoid common allergens (or put them on the side) if they're optional in your recipe: nuts, dairy, wheat, etc.

Machine Shop

  • Sort the metal scrap
    • This place is nearby, and open until 16:30 - https://gtscrap.com/gt-michigan/
    • If they're closed already, sort the "going away" scrap onto a pallet for easy lifting, later.
    • Remember to KEEP THE BARREL!!

  • Vacuum the rafters
    • The rafters have a not-insignificant amount of dust on them. A person on the Genie wandering along the ceiling with a good shop-vac (WITH A FILTER!! THIS IS IMPORTANT!) could do a good job of reducing the overall dust load in the space. Now, while A-Side is relatively empty, would be a great time to do this!
    • Make sure the food is in the classroom, lol
    • Try not to work directly over people...
    • Recommended to wear a goon mask, N95 or better
