Welding

Tasks

• Organize the under-table scrap
  • The area under the welding table is for loose storage of scrap for people to practice on or make stuff out of. It gets messy over time. We need someone to:
    • Take everything off the shelf,
    • Clean the shelf and the floor under it,
    • Discard (in the proper bin) things that are too far gone
    • Sort the remaining scrap into ferrous and non-ferrous (magnet test)
    • Put it back in an organized way.

• Wiki page for the new welder
  • The new TIG currently has a web page as "New TIG", https://www.i3detroit.org/wiki/New_TIG
  • This needs to be updated with the actual information of the welder.
  • Jody has pictures already, though they aren't great. Poke him on Slack to get them unless you'd rather take your own.

Supplies Needed Gloves (sufficient for metal handling, some cut resistance recommended) Tab and Mountain Dew (sufficient for code monkey)
