The Screenprinting SIG is dedicated to exploring the art of screen printing [1]. This SIG is open to single color, multi color, digital, and screen printing with vinyl (vinyl makes the screen, not the emulsion).
The work station and SIG equipment, supplies resides within the [Craft Room][2].

Purpose
People want to put statements on shirts.
Why have screen printing at i3Detroit?
- We DIY everything here. Why not our own printed t-shirts? hats? bags?
- The screen printing complements other equipment in the space. We can make custom apparel, then print on it!
- If you haven't tried printing, it's a lot like the vinyl cutter: very satisfying, with low barriers to entry. Before you know it, shirts and hats will be cropping up all over!
