Spacewide Stuff

    • Check battery fluid level. If the battery water is low, top off with distilled only, preferably from a freshly opened jug.
    • If you’re really bored, lube the column and/or change the hydraulic fluid.
  • Stuff Stuff
    • Insure parking permits and tickets are stocked up.
    • Apply as needed to stuff left out in the space.
    • Clean up lost and found
    • E-Waste from Graveyard to Silicon Alley

B-Side (Commons)

Tasks

  • Add foam to the wall air conditioner so it leaks less heat
  • Painting!
  • Cut foam for ceiling vent(s)

Classroom/Friendly Bathroom

Tasks

  • Finish painting crown molding
  • Touch up walls (patch holes/paint over)
  • Improve ceiling
    • Fix collapsing panels
  • Weatherstrip door
  • Move caddy from bunk couch to south-east wall (ask Jan)
  • Turn zone signage into vinyl (T. Drury?)
  • Finish painting hallway
  • Scrub floor/base molding
  • Add catch tray under soap dispenser in bathroom

Supplies Needed

Laser Zone

  • Vacuum out the bottoms of the laser cabinets
  • Clean air filters on chillers
  • Check water levels in chillers
  • Re-hang examples on the wall

Machine Shop

Tasks

  • install new surface grinder
  • sort out drill bits and taps
  • sort out contents under the work benches
  • foam the hole in the center back wall (used to be a fan)
  • investigate blown capacitor(?) in vent motor

Supplies Needed

  • foam sheet for wall, not terribly thick, about 18" square (or tufts of fiberglass or cotton insulation)

Tool Crib

  • Paint Powertools
  • If anyone wants to sort existing fasteners that would be cool but I'm not going to do it. Mtfurlan (talk)


Welding Zone

Tasks

  • Clean
    • Move stuff and sweep. Be careful not to kick up dust, just gather it up gently.
    • Use floor compound if you want.
  • Organize
    • The shelves - Take stuff off, wipe off the dust, put back with some semblance of order.
    • The scrap - Separate into magnetic and non-magnetic. Throw out stuff that looks too grungy to be of use (scrap bins in Machine Shop).
    • DEAL WITH THE AUCTION SCRAP!
    • Make sure the fire extinguisher is accessible...

Media Lab

Tasks

  • Clean printers area
  • Assess ink and print media supplies, order new stuff as necessary.
  • Make a mobile media cart with mixer, mics, power, area for laptop and tower, screen mount, speakers.
  • clean/organize media lab, move rarely used items to media lab’s new overflow storage plot.
  • further research items to be purchased that were listed on 2020 media lab budget; VR ready workstation, camera, etc.
