What Social Media Accounts does i3Detroit have?

What does it mean to engage?

Engagement on social media means commenting, liking, reposting/resharing/retweeting, and any other activities that are visible to other accounts on that platform.

Guidelines: What to do

  • Promote i3Detroit on social media through
    • Posting about the space, while being mindful of ZoCos stance on sharing specifics about their zone
    • Posting about completed projects (e.g. stuff on internal slack #showandtell), subject to OK from content generator
    • Posting about upcoming events and classes
    • Posting about completed events and classes
    • Judiciously engaging with content from other non-profit makerspaces
    • Engaging (e.g. by reposting) a project of an individual that was completed at i3Detroit
  • Permission to use individuals' pictures must be gotten ahead of time. If in doubt, don't post

Guidelines: What to not to do

  • Engage in any content other than the explicit list above. For instance, it is not permitted to engage with any political content. Such engagements are not permitted for a 501c3 non-profit. Other engagements such as those pertaining to a religious or social issue have the potential to alienate some even if it appears attractive to others and are thus prohibited. This is not a comprehensive list. There are all kinds of inappropriate content that should not be posted or engaged with. Rather than listing all the possible inappropriate content, stick to the list above on what to post/engage
  • Post picture of individuals without their permission. If this happens in error and individuals ask that their pictures be removed, the poster shall do so promptly
  • Post anything outside the the list above. As with engagement, it is impossible to list all inappropriate content we shouldn't be posting from i3Detroit account
