Intro
Grinder motor with 2 CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) wheels (180 grit and 360 grit). CBN is a man-made crystalline material which is one of the hardest materials in the world. It is just slightly below Diamond on the hardness scale. CBN wheels outperform common stone wheels in many ways.
Features: Don't require dressing to clean or true them. Don't get smaller over time. Less heat buildup on tools so risk of losing temper is reduced.
Rules
Sharpening high speed steel (HSS) woodworking tools only. No Exceptions! Do not grind or sharpen mild steel. It will clog the wheels.
The other grinder with aluminum oxide wheels is still available for mild steel or other sharpening needs.
Instructions
Various jigs are available to sharpen a variety of tools. Training is required to know which jigs to use and how to use them.
