Instructions
This scanner requires two power adapters, a VGA cable, and two USB cables. These cables are all located in a plastic shoebox located with the scanner. This scanner uses the EinScan-S software.
The Windows installer is located on the BTSync share in the fablab folder. There is also a license file in that folder. You should plan to install the application while you have the scanner attached to your computer. During installation, it will ask for a user ID and password. There is no fixed user ID, so just enter a dummy email address if you like and any password, then click Next. The next screen is where you will indicate that a local license file will be used. Make sure you've got the license file in the same folder as the installer. The rest of the installation is pretty standard.
