New Business

Budget Amendment for Welding Zone

  • $50 each month in Consumables for Welding Zone, starting in April and going through July, 2014.
  • This should fit within our existing revenue and is recommended - TW.
  • Donations have not been meeting the needs of the zone, people might not be paying for consumables they use
  • $50 estimated as twice the monthly expenses
  • Sometimes greater expenses are needed, about $70 for new gas
  • Monthly amount would not roll-over
To appropriate $50 each month in Consumables for Welding Zone, starting in April and going through July, 2014.
  • Motion passes with 6 yes votes of 7 present (1 virtual).

    • Build a window mount for the duct.
  • We have some ducting already available, will help stay under budget
  • Interest in clarifying the ownership of the machine
    • Walter still owns it
    • Walter has access to a commercial plasma cutter that meets his needs
    • The one at i3 is cobbled together
    • Walter said he wouldn't add any more features to the i3 plasma cutter
